Join the Central Florida Fairgrounds Wednesday, March 14th to Sunday, March 18th for the final week of the 2018 festivities! Tickets will run you $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (55 and over with valid ID) and $7 for children.
Here's what's happening:
Wednesday, March 14th gates open at 4 PM. Ride wristbands will run you $20, but there are free shows with no additional charge. Entertainment starts at 5 PM with Pig Races followed by High Dive, Risen BMX, World of Wonders and Wall of Death. Pop in Thursday, March 15th for $2 rides all night long or snag a ride wristband for $25. On Thursday there is also a steer show at 7 PM followed by a concert by Aaron Lewis in the Amphitheater (general admission costs $32 and tickets are limited so get yours here). On Friday first responders and military get in free with ID and there will be a free 7 PM show by Stokley of Mint Condition. Seating for this show is first come first serve and patrons are permitted to bring blankets and folding chairs.
On Saturday gates open at 10 AM rather than 4 PM and midway rides open at 11 AM. Ride wristbands will cost $30. At 3 PM the Caribbean festival will kick off and rolls on till 11 PM. Advance tickets will run you $40 and include over a half dozen performers and admission into the fair. On Saturday the free entertainment also includes a Sugar Cookie Demo at noon and a showcase by the Bead Society at 1 PM.
The Central Florida Fair will finish strong on Sunday, March 18th with gates at 11 AM followed immediately by livestock awards. There will be a livestock auction at 2 PM where you can bid on steer, swine, and lamb raised by FFA and 4H youth. On Sunday there will also be a community event with the Central Florida Bonsai Club at 3 PM (in addition to the sugar cookie demo and the Bead Society showcase).
What other things should you know? On Friday and Saturday, no unaccompanied minors will be permitted. Those under 18 will be accompanied by a parent, guardian or another adult 24 years old and one adult may chaperone up to four minors.
