Want a Christmas adventure to remember this December? Head downtown on the 14th at 6:30 PM to catch the 7th Annual Violectric Holiday Show @ Lake Eola Park! This event is presented by the City of Orlando Department of Families, Parks & Recreation in partnership with Mix 105.1. The 2019 performances will feature special guests, surprise visitors, and old favorites to make this year's event a show to remember.
For those who have yet to experience a Violectric show, expect classic rock music and modern hits mashed up with traditional holiday tunes performed on electrified strings. This is the only string rock band of its kind and utilizes cutting-edge technology and interactive experiences.
The Violectric show will start at 7:00 PM and run til 9:30 PM at the Walt Disney Amphitheater in Lake Eola Park. The concert is open to all ages, and leashed pets are welcome. Entry to the show is free but organizers do request that attendees bring a donation of pet food or make a cash donation to support the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. The organizers also suggest bringing a blanket to sit on, then donating the blanket to the Pet Alliance before leaving the event.
The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is an organization that does "good things for dogs and cats and the people who love them." They are the go-to pet experts across Central Florida. They also care for more than 7,000 homeless dogs and cats each year at their two animal shelters, and their veterinarians help pets at public veterinary clinics.
A donation to this organization is sure to put your heart in the holiday spirit!
