Disney's Magic Kingdom will commemorate the start of the family travel season this upcoming Memorial Day weekend by keeping the park open for 24 straight hours between Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.
From 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 25 to 6 a.m. on Sunday, May 26, Magic Kingdom will extend the magic for a literal full day of fun at this great theme park in Orlando.
During this time, Magic Kingdom in Orlando will feature a Monsters University theme where Mike and Sulley will act as Grand Marshals of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” day parade and make appearances throughout the day in Tomorrowland.
It doesn't stop there, though. In addition to everything listed above, there will be extra entertainment throughout the day and night on Magic Kingdom's Memorial Day Weekend 2013, including Disney characters in their pajamas in Town Square during late night and early morning hours, late-night dance parties in the courtyard of Cinderella Castle, and more.
Magic Kingdom hosted a similar celebration called One More Disney Day to commemorate the leap year on February 29 last year.
Admission prices to Disney's Magic Kingdom start at $89 for a one day pass. For tickets and more information, visit disneyworld.disney.go.com.
