One of Central Florida's best July 4th celebrations is held in the City of Altamonte Springs. In conjunction with XL 106.7 FM, the city is hosting the 23rd Annual Red Hot & Boom Festival at Cranes Roost Park on July 3 from 4-11 p.m.
This is the 24th edition of the patriotic spectacle that is held every year at the park, rain or shine. There will be tremendous live music performances and food vendors surrounding the lake in the middle of the park prior to the main event of the evening.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., the festivities are capped off by a dazzling synchronized fireworks show. Many have said that the 4th of July fireworks at Red Hot & Boom are one of the best displays in the South.
The performers that lead into the grand finale show on the floating stage also provide great entertainment. This year, the artists Echosmith, Lauv, MAX, Jack & Jack, In Real Life, Alyssa Raghu and Logan Henderson are scheduled to perform.
Huge crowds always come out to Red Hot & Boom and the event stays prepared to host these groups. There will be 65 portable bathrooms on-site and plenty of parking available at the adjacent Altamonte Mall and the surrounding areas.
To fully enjoy the experience, people are allowed to bring small tents, blankets, folding chairs and soft-sided coolers. No drones, large coolers, glass containers, alcohol, grilling devices or pets are allowed.
Come enjoy some patriotic traditions and good old-fashioned fun on July 3 in Cranes Roost Park. Celebrate America's birthday and enjoy everything that Red Hot & Boom has to offer!
