The Cady Way Pool in Winter Park is bringing back an exciting summer activity. Their Dive- In Movie feature returns with a screening of the summer classic, "Jaws," on Saturday, July 21 at 8:30 p.m.
"Jaws" exploded onto the summer movie scene in 1975 and held the title of highest-grossing film of all-time until the release of Star Wars in 1977. This thriller directed by Steven Spielberg has captured the imagination of film fans for years.
Admission to the "Dive-In Movie" is free. There will be popcorn and drinks provided as well.
As in true alignment with the theme of the event, people are encouraged to wear their swimsuits and enjoy the Cady Way Pool. There will be no pool floats allowed, but each child is allowed to bring one pool noodle.
The goal of hosting the "Dive-In Movie" series is to provide family-friendly entertainment. The Parks & Recreation Department has put on events in year's past as part of their Family Fun Program, showing films like "Frozen," "Inside Out!,"
There are currently no details available for future Dive-In Movie nights.
