Full Job Description
Certified Grill Master (CGM) is our end goal position in our kitchen, they are our leader, most skilled, and most dependable people for our kitchen. The CGM is the most knowledgeable person, understanding and mastering each position in the kitchen.
Responsibilities include, Working open or close as the CGM, ensuring each station is properly cleaned, detailed and stocked before, during and after each shift by the person assigned to that position. They handle all oven-broiled and Grilled seafood, steak and chicken and coordinate with each member of the line to ensure food goes out plated picture perfect and hot. They work with Managers on out going food, incorrect prepped items, and is the person the manager goes to when something is needed from the line or to pass information too.
Starting pay will be $13-$15, but once trained on our line and finish CGM training there is the option of a raise based on performance.
This is the end goal for our kitchen, once a person is a CGM they can be looked at and interviewed for our management team for Certified Restaurant Supervisor, the next step towards Management.
