Our nightly block features unique themes every night, giving you the opportunity to curate and deliver fresh, engaging mixes that resonate with our passionate audience. Whether live or pre-recorded, your 30-minute set could be the next big thing in HipHop radio.

What You'll Do:

• Create captivating 30-minute mixsets that align with the station’s theme and music strategy.
• Deliver live or pre-recorded sets with high energy and professionalism.
• Monetize your mixes: charge artists to feature their tracks in your set and keep 100% of the revenue.
• Collaborate with the Dopetrackz Radio team for promotions and exposure across our social media platforms.
• Engage listeners on our global broadcasting platforms, including iHeart Radio, Apple Music Radio, Alexa, Roku, and 30+ other apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform mixshows adhering to the nightly theme and station music strategy.
• Submit pre-recorded DJ sets as MP3 files when applicable.
• Ensure high-quality, clean "radio edits" that comply with station guidelines.
• Collaborate on promotional content to build your personal brand on-air and online.
• Engage in audience outreach and help grow the station’s fanbase.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years as a DJ with live mixshow or pre-recorded content experience.
• Music Knowledge: Deep understanding of HipHop and Rap genres, with the ability to curate engaging playlists.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with DJ software (e.g., Serato DJ Pro, Virtual DJ Pro) and Pioneer DJ equipment (e.g., DJM-900NXS2, PLX-1000).
• Broadcasting Software: To broadcast live, you'll need to choose a broadcasting client. Options include:
• BUTT: Recommended for simple broadcasting needs.
• Mixxx: Compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux for more robust broadcasting.
• Virtual DJ Pro: A professional-level tool for DJs using Windows or Mac OS.
• Rode Connect: Designed for Windows and Mac OS.
• Audio Hijack: Ideal for Mac OS users.
