37th Annual Light Up Mount Dora

Workers with Mount Dora Electric and the Parks and Recreation Departments, as well as, business owners and residents alike have been stringing up the lights in the city since mid-October and at 6:30 p.m. the city will come alive with the holiday spirit.

The City of Mount Dora’s Christmas lights has been featured in Southern Living Magazine as a destination to visit for tradition and history.

Pre-show events start at 4:30 p.m. in downtown Donnelly Park with dancers, traditional Christmas songs and much more! The night will be topped off with a special visit from Santa! At 6:30 p.m. City Officials will gather as the Mayor flips the switch that will light up the city. The lighting will take place at the Donnelly Building in the center of the park. After the lights are turned on, visitors and residents can enjoy the displays in and around Mount Dora through February.
