“Talent Showcase Provides Exclusive Opportunities”
ORLANDO, FL – April 30, 2022 – The Heart & Soul Music Festival has teamed up with 98.5 the Wire on a first-of-its-kind music competition and industry mixer. The 2022 Heart & Soul Talent Showcase will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Bronze Kingdom Museum in Orlando, FL.
The showcase and mixer is dedicated to discovering some of the brightest talents in the area and giving local artists the opportunity to connect with industry insiders, music executives, and other artists.
Hosted by 98.5 The Wire’s Tae Tae Loudmouth, the event will kick off with an Industry Mixer from 6:00pm - 7:00pm for the chance to network with others in the industry.
The talent showcase takes place from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Special guest judges include VP of Content Playmakers Inc, John Reed, Next Level Radio’s Don Apollo, Empire Records Executive Waleed Coyote, and Former Program Director of B.E.T and Founder of Rap Rehab Paul Porter.
You’re invited to the highly anticipated showcase spotlighting a variety of talented singers, rappers, and dancers. “We’re proud to provide a platform where artists can express themselves and share their gifts,” says Paul Billings, organizer of Heart & Soul Music Festival and GM of WHPB 98.5 FM, Paul Billings.
The 1st Place finalist will walk away with a $1000 grand prize. In addition, the top 3 finalists will open for R&B legends The Isley Brothers at the 2022 Heart & Soul Festival on October 8 at the Apopka Amphitheater.
