Goblin Market - Discount Art Mart - 1 Year Birthday Bonanza

ORLANDO, FL - It was just last March that Goblin Market, now a thriving discount art market at the Oviedo Mall, was started by a few friends at Ivanhoe Park Brewing with only 30 vendors in attendance.

Now, Goblin Market is hosting over 180 vendors, drawing over 3,000 attendees every month and turning the Oviedo Mall parking lot into a convention destination for cosplayers, nerds, punks, furries, D&D players, weebs, artists, folks AND freaks of all ages. Get ready for the first anniversary of Orlando’s first and only discount art market with a birthday bonanza on Saturday, March 29th from 12-7 p.m. in the Oviedo Mall parking lot!

Find endless discounts on art & vintage goods, baked goodies & food trucks, funky pottery, rug tufting, crochet, henna and more. If that wasn’t enough, Goblin Market now brings a plethora of artists you might only find behind a paywall at a convention for free, and with discounts! Linocut printers, wood burners, screenprinters, digital artists from out of town (and even out of state) have gathered to meet their fans and serve up some sales!

Every Party Needs a DJ
Live performances continue to elevate local bands and artists for all to enjoy! This time, find a full stage line-up including Gob alumni Paper Aviator, bringing lo-fi beats and video game song covers. This month, Gob is also welcoming new talent to the stage, including DJ Jo, an electrifying performing artist and music producer known for his unorthodox, high-energy EDM arrangements of anime and video game soundtracks. 2AMature will also make their Gob debut, a 4-piece alternative rock band decked out in wizard wear. Finally, drag performance troupe Gala of Ghouls will return with stunning performances that will make you wish you could do a death drop!

Goblins + Artists = Fun For You & The Crew!
The gob overlords have been cooking up some new amazing stuff to make this birthday a BANG! Gob Mart worked with the incredible Aydrian Art on not just the event poster, but also a sticker design printed by sponsor Sticker Wolf. Space Station Orlando is screen printing one-of-a-kind, limited-run birthday shirts designed by Kalei D. Art on site. There will be plenty of new merch of all kinds for purchase in collaboration with more amazing artists from the goblin horde. The lifeblood of the Goblin Market experience, the work of local artists always takes center stage at each event. As AI-generated images, called AI art, become commonplace in product design, Goblin Market reaffirms its support for local artists and the value of their craft. Art is more than a skill to sell - art can create experiences and embody emotions, something only human-made art can do.

More Than Another Market
Guests are welcome to join the hands-on interactive activities scattered about the festival, including the trading tent, discounts from artists and goblin-themed food. Those seeking adventure and rewards can visit the quest board and embark on a journey to find what vendors seek! The picnic area is now more than a rest spot to eat and enjoy the sun and shade; attendees can now find free button making, a zine craft station hosted by Orlando Zine Meetup and a meet-up area for attendees to swap their goodies, gob-to-gob!

Trading & Swapping All Day Long
The barter system is alive and well at Orlando’s First & Only Discount Art Mart! Anyone can bring their toys, clothes, art, books and more to swap at the Trading Tent, a communal hoard of goodies, the only place in the market where money is no good. Even vendors are in the spirit of things, willing to trade, barter and bargain with guests from 12-7 p.m.
