In honor of and in celebration of Malcolm X's birthday, we are giving away over $10,000.00 in books sponsored by the National Black Cultural Infomation Trust! All children and teens in attendance will receive FREE cultural and historically significant books (while supplies last) to increase home libraries during the statewide book ban in our public schools. The Equity Council Corp. is honored to be chosen as a distributor of knowledge for the community, and Dare Books is delighted to be our official book supplier and sponsor for all books donated to the Malcolm X Bookfest (@malcolmxbookfest)! In addition to the festival, join us Friday, May 19th, 2023, for an exciting evening of meaningful discussion at Dare Book Store's V.I.P Book Launch for author and public speaker Mr. Andre Polite (@_andrepolite).
