Join us on December 26, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM at the Winter Park Community Center for the Day 1 Central Florida Kwanzaa Celebration of Umoja (Unity)! This milestone event marks 25 years of Kwanzaa in Winter Park to Daytona Beach, FL and 36 years in Central Florida, celebrating heritage, unity, and culture.
✨ Event Highlights:
? Candle Lighting Ceremony: Illuminate the Black Candle for Umoja (Unity). ? Drumming Performances: By Tam Tam Alifa African Drummers. ? Dance Performances: Featuring Winter Park's Kwanzaa Community Dancers, choreographed by Tanita Fadyeyola. ? Musical Showcase: Including a special performance by Tamika Love Jones to benefit Creative Global Schools. ?️ SOKO Marketplace: Support Black-owned businesses. ? Delicious Food: Celebrate with a festive feast.
