Calling all cosplayers!! Who's your alter ego? The dynamic duo who brought the Mystery Mansion Masquerade to life is trading their formal attire for superhero capes and tights. The Cosplay for Charity event for a cause will join forces with professional cosplay superhero's as well as hundreds of men and women to raise funds for children in need.
On October 19th Julie Washington of The Washington Law Firm and My Haitian Is Beautiful invite you to expose your alter ego in the form of your favorite celebrity, superhero. or cosplay character from Anime, Marvel, DC Comics, Celebrity Look A Like and connect with professional cosplayers for a great cause and a night of fun. Comic Royalty Athena Finger, granddaughter of the creator of Batman will be among the elite guest list.
The cosplay Halloween event in Orlando will take place inside Lion's Pride Orlando located on 123 W. Church Street in Downtown Orlando. Proceeds will benefit My Haitian Is Beautiful. The nonprofit organization My Haitian is Beatiful Inc. provides educational, financial, and health resources for children in Leogane, Haiti. Come out for a night of fun! Dress up in your best costume and enter for a chance to win a special cash prize.
I've been asked to break out my own alter ego, Wonderwoman and be a judge during the cosplay costume contest. I'd love to see some familiar faces in the crowd. Tickets are just $25 and support a wonderful organization and children in need. See you Saturday, Superheros!
