One of our favorite spots to grab a pint in downtown Orlando is Irish Shannon's. You can find the low-key pub nestled in the heart of The Church Street District right next to Chillers | Cahoots | Latitudes (the longest running bar in downtown Orlando). Irish Shannon's offers fifteen different draft beers alongside a full liquor bar, so the pub has a drink for every palate. Now they've got something new to please your taste buds. If you're craving Irish bar food in Orlando, Irish Shannon's kitchen is now open.
Church Street Bar Now Serves Bar Food In Downtown Orlando
The Downtown Orlando Irish bar's menu offers Celtic cult classics like Shephards Pie, Fish & Chips, and Boxty's (potato pancakes), but you can also find American dishes with an Irish twist. We dig the BBQ Guinness Wings and the Manger's Irish Tender Mountain. The menu also includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, apps, and wraps. We're particularly intrigued by the Peachy Pulled Chicken Sandwich (made with sourdough bread and a homemade peach BBQ sauce) and the Dublin Street Tacos (which contains stout glazed corned beef, brussel sprout slaw, swiss cheese, and mustard aioli).
The tacos are not the only EIRE-MEX fusion on the menu -- experimental eaters can also order corned beef quesadillas and Over the Rainbow Nachos. For dessert, we recommend a cocktail. We love the Irish Breakfast shot or the Natural Ginger Cocktail made with 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey. The Irish Shannon's kitchen is open from 11:30AM to 10:00PM but the pub serves drinks til 2:00AM, seven days a week.
Aside from the downtown Orlando drink specials and dining, Irish Shannon's also offers live music on their indoor/outdoor stage every Saturday and Sunday. The downtown Orlando bar has five HD TVs and a large projector screen for special sporting events. Speaking of special sporting events -- stop by before or during any home Orlando Magic game for half off all drinks!
