There is no doubt that we live in a college football town and downtown Orlando is playing host to the perfect event to ring in the season. Orlando Pub Crawl is hosting the College Gameday Orlando Pub Crawl on Friday, August 23 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Tour around four different venues while decked out in your favorite team's gear. The pub crawl offers the perfect opportunity for fans of UCF, Florida, Florida State, Miami and other schools from around the country to meet up and talk about the season to come.
The timing of this event could not be better either, with it staged the night before the first college football game of the season, the Camping World Kickoff between the Gators and the Canes. As a result, fans of both teams flocking to Orlando will have the perfect setting to engage in some friendly in-state smack talk.
The College Gameday Pub Crawl is adding another layer to team pride as well. Each of the participating bars will be playing school fight songs and taking requests, so expect to hear plenty of classic college band tunes filling the streets.
The fun starts at Elixir at 8 p.m., continuing at The Basement/The Attic at 9:15 p.m. and Latitudes at 10:30 p.m. The evening concludes when everyone comes together at Wall Street Plaza for the fan zone block party at 11:45.
Early bird tickets are $10 and available until August 13. The price goes up to $15 from August 14-August 22 and it costs $20 to get in on the day of the event.
Admission includes four complimentary Coors Light beers, Tito's vodka cocktails, Jager shots or Casmigos Tequilla shots. Jimmy Hula's will also be offering up their Kahuna Burger for $4.
Those who register must arrive at Elixir by 9:30 to guarantee admission. Make sure you kick off the 2019 season the right way and represent for your team!
