To kick off the school year, The Milk District Neighborhood Association is hosting their annual Back to School BBQ and School Supplies Fundraiser, benefiting our very own Central Florida Leadership Academy!

Who's ready for back to school?!
To kick off the school year, The Milk District Neighborhood Association is hosting their annual Back to School BBQ and School Supplies Fundraiser, benefiting our very own Central Florida Leadership Academy! Join us on Wednesday, August 7th for food, fun, and community collaboration. Come hang with your neighbors and get to know the board! Although the meeting must end at 7:30PM, the party can go until dark.
We'll provide the hot dogs (vegan and meat), you provide the school supplies donations!
What you should bring:
- School supplies donation (see the list at the bottom)!
- A cool chair to kick back and relax in!
- Beverages of all kinds!
- Optional side to share!
What we're gonna bring:
- Hot-dogs and burgers (vegan and meat)
- Cornhole (bring your A-game!)
- Cool milky stickers from Ashley Hallenbeck!
Not sure what kind of supplies we're looking for? Worry not; we made a list of the most needed items for teachers and students!
FOR STUDENTS:
- Sturdy Backpacks -greatest need
- College Ruled Composition Notebooks
- 1 1⁄2” 3 Ring Binders
- Black Pens, #2 Pencils, and Highlighters
- College Ruled Lined Paper
- Wide Ruled Lined Paper
- Graph Paper
FOR TEACHERS:
- Colored Pencils and Markers
- Black Sharpies
- Dry Erase Markers
- Glue Sticks
- Rulers
- Pink or White Erasers
- Ream of Copy Paper
- Lysol Wipes
- Hand Sanitizer
