Event Details
Watch the pirates of the Flying Dutchman take their revenge for being put into an early watery grave. The North Palm Beach Library is proud to announce its third annual haunted house.
This year, the library is combining with Parks and Recreation to execute a full day of fun with the Halloween Festival: The Flying Dutchman, on Saturday, Oct. 29th.
Anchorage Park will transform into a spooktacular experience for visitors to come and watch the Flying Dutchman come to life before their eyes on the haunted trail.
The festival will offer hay rides, food, music, a petting zoo, and even more carnival games than last year. Additionally, we will be offering contests for guests.
Guests can bring jack o' lanterns for our Pumpkin Carving Contest, come dressed up in their favorite costumes for a Costume Contest, and end the evening with a Pie Eating Contest (pre-registration required, limited entry). Visit our website at bit.ly/3D2mIBU for contest rules and registration.
We will also be offering a Lil' Pirate Treasure Hunt recommended for children up to age 7.
Children get to explore the playground and hunt for treasure starting at 4:30 p.m.
The hunt lasts until all the treasure is found!
