Dr. Phillips is a township in Orange County, Florida, located south of Orlando and north of Deltona and Sanford. The city is named after Dr. Phillip Edwin Price and his wife Sarah Robinson Price, who received the land from her father John M. Robinson at the turn of the 20th century. The history of Dr. Philips predates its own creation by more than 100 years. In fact, it has a rich history that goes all the way back to 1845 when Dr. Phillip Edwin Price first arrived in Florida for tuberculosis treatment
