What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUCF, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUCF event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
TEDxUCF 2017 will take place on April 21st at 6:00pm in HEC 125!
Stay posted for our application to be an attendee. Our attendee list is lottery based but there will be a live stream!

Are you (or is someone you know) exploring a unique perspective that’s promoting new insight? Pursuing extraordinary projects right here in our local community? Is there a powerful story that can change how we interpret and affect our world? Does the idea need to be shared to grow?
We’re seeking proposals from the UCF community, and beyond, for our TEDxUCF 2017 event. If you, or someone you know well, is doing something profound that’s appropriate for a TEDx talk, please fill out the form below. While we’ll review all submissions, we are a small team and cannot respond to each proposal.
