One of the natural pleasures of living in Central Florida is that the Orlando area has plenty of outdoor recreation to explore. Before the summer heat becomes unbearable and you find yourself seeking asylum in one of the many splash pads in Orlando, take advantage of the beautiful Florida weather and let your kids burn off some of that energy. Here are a few of our favorite parks with playgrounds in Orlando.
Lake Eola Park
A beautiful, natural landscape in Downtown Orlando perfect for hikes, biking, sports, and much more also has a wonderful playground in Orlando with options for little ones and big kids to play.
Capehart Park Splash Pad
This park has a tot lot for children ages 2 - 5, a fitness path, and a splash pad. The splash pad and playground in Orlando are a great way to spend time with family and friends year round!
Blue Jacket Park
Blue Jacket Park has a full array of outdoor activities. Sports, recreation, loop path & picnic areas amid stone structures & a fountain on 75 acres.
Delaney Park
Delaney Park is one of Orlando’s oldest parks. Originally called Duckworth Park, the name was changed in 1959 to Delaney Park. Delaney Park is 7.25 acres of a blend of oak-shaded areas, ball fields, and a playground in Orlando.
Jay Blanchard Park
Just across from the Blanchard Park YMCA between the trees of the park lies a large playground in east Orlando where your little one can jump, swing, run and play till their hearts content. The park is open to the public when Jay Blanchard Park is open.
Cherry Tree Park
This neighborhood park near the downtown area is located at the intersection of Primrose Drive and Jackson Street, close to the Orlando Executive Airport. Almost one acre in size, the park has a beautifully maintained playground in Orlando with a jungle gym, playhouse, and tube slide.
