Those looking to satisfy their sweet cravings while perusing the shops along Park Avenue in Winter Park have a new option. Little Blue Donut Co. opened Tuesday in the retail plaza near the corner of Fairbanks and S. New York Avenues.
The new donut shop in Orlando location at 223 N. Fairbanks Ave formerly housed the tapas restaurant, Scratch. Owners Mike and Alyse Perfetto originally started Little Blue Donut Co. as a food truck in late 2016 and it quickly became popular around town.
The Perfettos have lived in the Orlando area for 20-plus years and both left their jobs when they launched the Little Blue Donut concept two years ago. They were donut enthusiasts that used their business savvy to research and perfect the donut-making process.
