Shake Shack in Winter Park is now open for business. The restaurant has opened just next door to the new Trader Joe's grocery store at 119 North Orlando Avenue at the intersection of West Morse Boulevard.

Diners can enjoy burgers (cooked medium unless otherwise requested), hot dogs, fries, and frozen custards with menu item prices ranging from $2.85 to $8.95. In addition, craft wine and beer are sold at Shake Shack with Brooklyn Brewery and Frog's Leap Winery providing libations.

The Winter Park Shack Shack location has an exclusive menu item called Winter's Wonderland. Winter's Wonderland is a vanilla frozen custard with marshmallow sauce and crispy crunchies. Exclusive desserts from New York City and Miami are also on the menu. Shake Shack will donate 5% of sales from Winter Wonderland's concrete to BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation, a local non-profit founded in 1982 that provides year-round support to children and families in Orlando and Central Florida facing cancer and other hematological illnesses.

Shake Shack has over 50 locations and is known for their "100% all-natural Angus beef" which is "vegetarian fed, humanely verified, and source verified" and promises "no hormones or antibiotics" in their beef. Shake Shack was established in 2004 in New York City's Madison Square Park as a hot dog cart which became popular and created the current burger chain which is managed by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG).

The Winter Park Shake Shack location is the first Shake Shack in Central Florida. Shake Shack CEO, Randy Garutti, has been eyeing Central Florida for some time and picked this location due to its proximity to Lake Killarney. The location includes an outdoor patio with a fire pit, lounge chairs, and a ping-pong table.
