School's out for spring break in Orlando and you need to keep the kiddos entertained. Universal Orlando is a great option for spring breakers, especially because it's basically one big party with the annual Mardi Gras party going on. But there's also a couple of new attractions that will make for great spring break memories.
You'll be feeling like you're in the bayou at Universal's annual Mardi Gras party, featuring concerts, cajun-style eats and a nightly parade. Dazzling costumes, beads flying through the air, street performers and a parade of colorful floats dance down the street to the tunes of traditional New Orleans music.
As the weather heats up, your lazy spring break days might be better served floating down the lazy river at Universal's Volcano Bay. While the water park opened last year, spring break just might be the excuse you need to take your first spin down one of its water slides. The park features 25 acres with 30 experiences and 18 different attractions.
Finally, if you're staying for a couple of nights, you'll definitely want to check out Universal Citywalk. Citywalk is where the party happens at night with dining with just about any type of fare, shopping and entertainment. You could also be the first to try a Voodoo Doughnut. The company, known for its unusual doughnut creations, is set to open a store at Citywalk any day now.
If you're still looking for spring break plans, look no further as Universal Orlando has so much to do and see.
